Doors Open Toronto 2013

Hands down one of my favourite and free public events is Doors Open Toronto. A chance to explore over 150 of Toronto’s buildings that may otherwise not be open to the public. Every venue has something architecturally or historically interesting to offer. This year I took the Steam Whistle Brewery tour, examined countless historical photos at the Toronto Archives, checked out the brand new Regent Park Aquatic Centre, played Foosball at the Corus Entertainment building, watched a Cooper make barrels in the Distillery District and dreamed of rolling in the giant pile of sugar at the Redpath Factory.
