Ride To Save Jarvis
Hundreds of cycling advocates took to Jarvis Street to protest the bike lane removal during the 2nd coordinated ride to Save Jarvis. The ride organized by Cycle Toronto (formerly the Toronto Cyclist’s Union) gathered in Allan Gardens to listen to speeches before taking a circuitous route up Church Street, back down Jarvis to Queen Street before riding over to Nathan Phillips Square. Ridership on Jarvis is up 300% since the lane was put in and collision rates are down significantly.
